Asma is a single mother from Gaza who has four beautiful children. She has overcome immense challenges to provide a better future for her children. She was a scholar in the US, working towards her masters degree and she now lives in Belgium where she and her four children are facing life-threatening hardships. Her children are being physically and emotionally abused and Belgian law isn’t helping her much. She was kicked out of her house by her soon-to-be ex-husband, and thrown in the street with no money or means to a decent life. She can’t see her children because the father is keeping them away from her and she has filed for custody of her children. She is living with friends and looking for a job so she will be able to rent a house and provide for her children.
