Update: Alhamdulillah, we have upped the fundraising goal twice so far to allow more brothers and sisters to get the reward of helping sister Alia's Family. To clarify, funds collected will be used to cover funeral and burial expenses and any extra funds will be passed on to sister Alia's children to help them cope with their new sad reality. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji3un. Our beloved sister in faith, Alia Khraibi, a cherished mother of two remarkable children, has been unexpectedly and suddenly called home by the Most Merciful after battling a rare, unforeseen ailment. A loving mother, Alia devoted her life to raising her son, who is now in college, and her daughter, an eleventh grader, instilling in them strong values and unwavering resilience. In spite of life's challenges, Alia's steadfast faith and perseverance left an indelible mark on our hearts. Yet, in this moment of grief, Alia's children find themselves confronted with the somber realities of bidding their beloved mother a fitting farewell. The cost of a funeral is a burden that they are unprepared to shoulder alone. As a community that Alia cherished, it falls upon us to extend our support in this time of need. As is our obligation, let us assist our young brother and sister in ensuring their mother is laid to rest in accordance to the Islamic rites. حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ، وَابْنُ، حُجْرٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ - عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَا نَقَصَتْ صَدَقَةٌ مِنْ مَالٍ وَمَا زَادَ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا بِعَفْوٍ إِلاَّ عِزًّا وَمَا تَوَاضَعَ أَحَدٌ لِلَّهِ إِلاَّ رَفَعَهُ اللَّهُ " . Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another except that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises his status. اللهم اغفر لها وارحمها وعافها واعف عنها، وأكرم نزلها ووسع مدخلها واغسلها بالماء والثلج والبرد ونقها من الخطايا كما ينقى الثوب الأبيض من الدنس. اللهم أبدلها دارا خيرا من دارها، وأهلا خيرا من أهلها، وزوجا خيرا من زوجها، اللهم أدخلها الجنة وأعذها من عذاب القبر ومن عذاب النار. O Allah, forgive her, have mercy on her, heal her, and pardon her. Honor her dwelling (in the grave) and make her entrance (to Jannah) vast. Cleanse her with water, snow, and hail, and purify her of sins as a white garment is purified of dirt. O Allah, replace her home with a better home, her family with a better family, and her spouse with a better spouse. O Allah, admit her into Jannah and protect her from the punishment of the grave the Fire.
