My name is Lee Koppenaal, I would like to raise money for the maternity unit at Addenbrookes Hospital in memory of my son, Ben John Koppenaal, as it is coming up to what would have been his 30th birthday. He was born 18/08/1993 and sadly was only with us for 2 days. I have chosen this charity to commend the staff as they were so supportive during this sad time. I will be doing this by growing my hair and beard out for 1 year starting from 7/7/23 until 7/7/24. If anyone knows me they will know I am a skin head so this is not my usual style. I will be uploading monthly updates on my Facebook page. All donations will be greatly appreciated. The Friends of the Rosie are enthusiastic volunteers whose aim is to improve the services the hospital provides by raising money for items that the NHS does not buy. They are interested in the comfort of all Rosie patients, and supply specially designed furniture, as well as refurbishing wards. In the community they supply midwives with state-of-the-art equipment.Hi friends, join me in making a difference by supporting a good cause!
