Hello. My name is Marcela and my daughter's class is heading to Washington DC. We live primarily one one income but I work at my kid's school as a sub TA, scrip coordinator and Girl Scouts leader to help them attend their school. She is graduating this upcoming Spring and has a class trip to Washington DC. Somehow we have made it each year to pay for everything they need. But this year we need help. Between braces, contacts and other teen needs, the bill for this trip is overwhelming us unless we get some help. I do a lot of volunteering plus teach art to those who love it as much as me just asking to cover supplies with a little bit extra for my time. Arts is something I am passionate about and do all my extra time to help pay the bills by offering classes to kids 3 years and up. This trip would be for her a big milestone. Since covid, all kids were affected in some way. For my daughter, her anxiety took a hit. She is very attached to me. Before covid, she was excited to go to camp with friends. Since covid, it now terrifies her. She has been getting help and meds but bills are coming in and I finally decided to say we need help. So I am asking, for anything we can get to help give her this trip for her and I to go. I will be doing everything I can on my end but a little help would be appreciated. Thank you so much.
