Hi my name is Valerie and I'm fundraising for my last wishes trip. I currently am diagnosed with stage 4 Metastatic Breast cancer. Here's a little snip It about my story... Val's cancer has spread throughout her body tremendously per the PET scan results. The cancer is now in her legs, hips, pelvis, spine, neck, chest cavity and in her left lung. Because it is so aggressive, they have resumed intravenous chemotherapy weekly. Val had her first chemo treatment this past Monday and she will have chemo treatments every Monday indefinitely. Val was feeling good following her first treatment, but the side effects will increase with time. Some of the side effects expected are extreme fatigue, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite and she will lose her hair because of the chemo treatments too. Right now, Val does have a home healthcare nurse for 6 visits and will be getting a life alert button for days/times she is home alone in case of an emergency. I am fundraising to take my family on a family vacation to Jackson hole, WY for a last wishes trip. All of the funds collected will help to accomplish this.
