Everyone here at the STAR Eco Station would like to ask you to help us in welcoming our two newest Eco Ambassadors! A young female Bobcat and male Red Fox have arrived from Texas and we need your help in naming them! Both of these guys were wild caught in Texas and people tried to keep them as personal pets. They are both imprinted, meaning they are too used to people to be able to go back to the wild, so they came all the way to the STAR Eco Station were our staff can take excellent care of them and thier stories can be used to teach the public on why these magestic, wild animlas should not be kept as pets. Since they are both nameless, we are having a naming contest! If you donate $5, you can leave your name suggestion in the comments section, and once we reach our goal, we will vote on the best names! The money raised from this contest will go toward the building of a large outdoor enrichment center complete with a paw-sitively awesome play structure, pool, and tons of toys for them to get proper exercise, playtime, and training for them as well as our other foxes, Dixie and Zeus! This means a lot of work and money in a very short amount of time! Any little bit helps in the rescuing of an animal so, please donate any amount that you can. Thank you for your consideration! The STAR Eco Station is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit 18,000 sq-ft environmental science museum and exotic wildlife rescue center in Culver City, California that provides environmental education, field trips, gifted and talented instruction, classroom instruction, after-school enrichment, school assemblies, mobile museums, and community events that annually reach one million learners of all ages.
