“You have not because you ask not.” If you’ve been following me for any amount of time, you know I wrote a novel. Six years, multiple drafts, and countless submissions to receive replies like, “This is compelling work,” “You have a highly original concept,” and “Your writing style is beautiful,” BUT it’s never a “good fit” for these agents. This book has so much potential, with a message that will HELP people, but only 2% of querying first-time authors are picked up by agents for publication representation. (Believe me, I’ve done the legwork.) It’s been years and I finally found an accredited hybrid publisher that SUPPORTS my work and WANTS to not only publish this book but give it EXPOSURE! Only, EVERY TIME I’m close to having what is needed to get the ball rolling, life happens and I’m back at square one. Every passing day this book sits on the shelf, I believe it’s robbing others of a possible blessing—not because I wrote it, but because it’s encouraging message isn’t being shared with the world. That’s all I want to do. I long to be a light. Would you help this tiny spark turn to flame? Would you be a part of my writing journey? Anything would make an impact. Thank you.
