It's time for this Global Girl to embark on her first global journey! Kenya and I would would love your support as we prepare to travel to Mombasa, Kenya, Nairobi, Kenya and Amsterdam in March 2016 with the Global Girls Performing Arts Company. The Global Girls organization is one that has taught thousands of girls in the Chicago area over the past 15 years how to convey their triumphs and obstacles through use of the Arts. Global Girls has taken youth to Ghana, Kenya and India, has an active chapter in Mombasa, Kenya and will be launching chapters in other parts of the world. Kenya is a 12 year old, 7th grade student who has been an active participant in Global Girls since the summer of 2014. Kenya became an official member of the Global Girls company this summer giving her the opportunity to display her gifts in theater and dance on a more advanced level. This will be a life-changing experience for all of the young ladies!
