On Thursday, August 3rd, 2024 we lost our beloved son, Joshua Robert Glueck. Josh was one of a kind, he never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off his back, he always had a smile and a kind word for you. He loved living in Melbourne Beach and hated when he had to go to the mainland, so, if you wanted to see Josh, it was best to head in his direction. Josh was a wonderful son, brother, nephew, cousin and Uncle. He always lit up a room with his smile. Josh was passionate about his beloved Cleveland Cavs, Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians (they’ll always be the Indians, don’t call them the Guardians!) He loved hanging at home in his flannel pj’, didn’t matter how hot it was. He enjoyed golf and fishing. He loved to cook and create new recipes, especially desserts for Oceanside Pizza. He was passionate about a few things like Religion and Politics, so best not to broach those subjects with him. He learned to read when he was about three years old and enjoyed it all of his life, often sitting at the park by the river with a good book in his hands. He loved his family and he loved his friends and often there was no distinction between the two, his friends were his family. Many of his friends have asked what they can do to help so we have set up a Go Fund Me Page in Josh’s Memory. Since Josh was so passionate about reading, we would like to donate the funds to the “Friends of the Library” in his honor. He would love knowing he could pass on the gift of reading to others. On behalf of his family, we thank you for being a part of Josh’s life!
