Hi! I'm Dorin, a blessed father with two extraordinary daughters. I collect donations to finance my last step to become completely independent and free from the constraints of a day-to-day job. I wouldn't have done this if the financial situation and monthly expenses hadn't left me, month after month, at a subsistence limit that pressed me constantly. Until I got to this point, I worked in all the fields worthy of an immigrant coming to a new country. From washing toilets to washing dishes to cleaning, at the bar, and as a driver on a concrete mixer. I discovered my talent as a visual artist, videographer, and photographer in 2017 when I bought a 100-euro camera at a flea market, and since that day I have been inseparable from that camera. Little by little I managed to upgrade my equipment, making financial compromises. For 4 years I worked with the same camera, producing visual material almost daily, very often for free just for the sake of building a portfolio and making myself visible on the market, and very often for small amounts of money. But almost a year ago, customers started coming. Something that makes me happy. Projects are becoming more and more complex and more and more often at great distances from home. It's a wonderful thing and a goal I've been aiming to reach for a long time. But now the video camera with which I took tens of thousands of pictures and hundreds of videos (it's a sony a7III) is starting to fail. I have lost important video projects and images due to wear and tear. I have been planning for almost 2 years to upgrade my gear by buying a video camera, a sony fx6, a "cinema" lens, and all the small things necessary for a complete set-up, batteries, cards, external monitor, microphone, lights, tripods, and light modifiers, but the price of approximately 15,000 euros seems almost impossible to collect in my current situation. I am embarrassed because I have reached this point. To depend on the goodwill and understanding of strangers with a big heart who want to help fulfill a dream. I appreciate any donation, no matter how small it is, or just a share if you cannot intervene financially. Don't get me wrong. I do my best to collect the necessary money on my own. Besides the two daily jobs, I am always looking for new projects to support me and fulfill my dream. Each donation will be valued and set aside to purchase the necessary equipment to start a business that will support me financially without compromising the quality of the product offered to my future clients. Thanks to the donations, I will be able to focus on a place to rent where I will be able to carry out my activities as a photographer and videographer on a very wide range of fields of application. If I manage to reach my goal and the desired amount, at the end of the campaign I will do an online randomizer with all the donors who have donated a minimum amount of 500 Euro and for the person who will be chosen, I will offer my services as a photographer or videographer, regardless of the location, the nature of the project, the period, its complexity and duration.
