If you know Mary you know the dedicated and hardworking horsewoman she has been since the age of 5. Mary has always gravitated toward the horses that need extra love and patience… and everything in between. Mary has been given the opportunity to compete on a horse she personally developed, through the many levels of dressage, at the FEI North American Youth Championships. NAYC is the premier equestrian competition in North America for junior and young riders (ages 14-21) and U25 (ages 16-25). Young equestrians vie for team and individual FEI medals in the Olympic equestrian discipline of dressage. The competition is run under Federation Equestre Internationale, the international governing body of equestrian sport, and is the only FEI championships held annually on this continent. Mary also earned an invitation to compete at the U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions in Illinois a week later. Festival showcases the top athletes and horses in 16 divisions of dressage. Mary has worked the last four years at Miramonte Equine near Lexington, Kentucky training with Emily Brollier Curtis as a working student and assistant trainer and during her younger years training with Mary Wells, Sandra Elder and Ashley Jenkins in Tennessee. During her time with Miramonte Equine, Mary has earned her USDF bronze, silver and gold medals. We want to help Mary accomplish one of her biggest goals. Mary is raising money for show and travel expenses associated with this journey. She would very much appreciate any support you could give her and her team at North American Youth Championships and the Festival of Champions that she will attend in August. Thank you so much for your consideration.
