Jasmine, aged 5, has been undergoing treatment at RMCH since June 2024 when she was diagnosed with stage 4 high-risk Neuroblastoma. Jasmine has had 8 rounds of induction chemotherapy, surgery to remove her tumour, two rounds of high dose chemotherapy and 2 autologous stem cell transplants, 12 sessions of radiotherapy and she is now starting immunotherapy. Along side many hospital stays, injections, dressing changes, blood transfusions, ng tubes, physiotherapy session, sedations, tests and scans. The 5-year survival rate for high-risk Neuroblastoma is 50%. Although she has responded well to treatment, there is a 60% chance of relapse and if she relapses, the survival rate drops to 5%. Jasmine's dreams are to go to Disney to meet her favourite Princesses and feel like a Princess. We have been in contact with Kids Cancer Charity and we can take Jasmine to DisneyWorld Florida on a once in a lifetime trip but we need to fundraise to contribute towards a week long stay at Give The Kids the World Village. Any additional funds will help go towards flights and travel insurance as we need to arrange this. Jasmine has been so brave and courageous during this challenging time and we would love to make her dreams come true. She is the most caring, kind, cheeky, smart and artistic child. Jasmine may appear shy when you first meet her but she'll soon be chatting away and being her sassy self. She's also guaranteed to talk to you about cats and chickens as they are her favourite animals. Thank you for your support, we would love nothing more than to make some amazing family memories with Jasmine and her younger brother Elijah, aged 3. As they have both spent so much time apart whilst Jasmine has been having treatment.
