I'm 43 with 4 beautiful children and 2 Grandchildren. In Nov 2013 I was diagnosed with cancer (a 9X7cm tumor in my lung) after chemo then six weeks of radiation and chemo together.  Four major operations over a year, the first was 14 hours to remove my top left lung lobe (which contained the tumor) and move a muscle in my back to fill the hole. The next one was12 hours due to an infection that was caused by a kiwi fruit size hole left behind the muscle flap during the last operation.  The next was to remove my left adrenial gland and a 6cm tumor. After this I had more Chemo. Then the last operation (Sept 2015) to remove my spleen, the tail of my pancreas and much tissue around my kidney and colon. But the cancer has come back already so treatment is still ongoing. The next step being more Chemo, although the Oncologist dosen't think it will work he said its better than nothing. :-(  we are going to see a natropath at RPA alternative therapy is our only real option.During this time my husband caught Ross River Fever and had 3 months where he was unable to work and during this time went unpaid. This has been a huge financial strain on my family as I quite often needed him home looking after me and our two youngest children especially when I was in hospital, so he has had to take a lot of time off. Medical and everday living expenses have left us in the red.One of the new medications I'm on i'snt covered by medicare, it's expensive but could save my life. Please help us, even a $5 is appreciated, every little bit helps :-)
