Hey I’m Hayley So as most of you know Charlie whose 17, was involved in a major accident on Wednesday 5th July, involving a bus up near the snipe . Charlie was on her bike at the time of the incident. As a lot of you aware she is a keen cyclist and loves to be out on her bike, she’s always careful and makes sure she has her helmet on at all times. She even has a schedule that she sticks to every day, to make sure she’s out keeping fit Charlie.Currently attends Tameside Collage Im not a family member or even know the family , however, my partner sees Charlie every day, as he’s cycling home from work and always sees her around the snipe area. It was just to close to home for us, especially having a young girl, who also loves her bike we was so worried about her, as was lots of other people . Charlie is currently in hospital , in a stable condition, in a lot of pain and is waiting for an operation to pin her arm and foot back together, she has lots of broken bones and a shattered heel. Im writing this, with the permission of Charlie’s mum, Sam, who must be going through so much being at the bedside of her beautiful daughter . During the incident Charlie’s bike and phone was damaged during the incident. So people of Ashton and Audenshaw and surrounding areas . How far can we dig into our pockets /purses , to help this wonderful young lady and her family. What a wonderful surprise it would be for her, to have a new bike and possibly new phone to come home to. The best reason to get back out there again.
