The A.R.T.S. "Another Reason to Smile" Ministry founded by Danielle Davis who is a professional photographer/videographer, philanthropist and servant of God. After the passing of her beloved mother on July 21, 2014, the vision to start the A.R.T.S. ministry was manifested by God. During her time of grief, she took a two month paid leave from her job of 14 years. Amazingly, during this time off, business increased for her company, “Snap This Click That Photography, LLC. People from all walks of life called upon her to capture pertinent moments to make lifetime memories. Through the various smiles and positive energy of others, she moved from a place of heartbreak to contentment.It also was during this time, she realized God was the First reason she was able to smile through all her pain and life experiences. God whispered the acronym, A.R.T.S. to her and it became clear that He had a plan and purpose for her life that will give others “Another Reason to Smile”. Like her mom she has a personal passion for youth and through A.R.T.S. she works tirelessly to bring about a positive purpose driven change in their lives and open their world to new possibilities and opportunities. Danielle is seeking to obtain a non for profit status to make the mission and vision of this wonderful organization possible. Our Scripture: James 4:17 - Therefore, to him who knows to do good & does not do it, to him it is sin.Our Mission: To show everyone to look for the goodness of our Lord for He is in every situation & is the first reason to smile. We also aim to encourage others to use those God given talents & gifts to give someone else A.R.T.S. (Another Reason To Smile).Our Vision: To reach those that feel hopeless & helpless & those that are even cheerful and give them A.R.T.S. as they seek their purpose in life while we encourage them to live it out with passion so that their legacy lives on forever. It’s time to spread more love!!We are doing this YOUTH TRIP from STL to DC because our youth matter. They should be able to see another part of the world before they reach adulthood. The sad part is some of our youth are not even making it to adulthood. Have you seen the news lately. Sometimes we as adults need to step away from our current situations to find our purpose in life. That is exactly what we will be presenting to the youth on this trip. On our four day trip we will be showing the youth1.) How to look to their inner self and believe that they matter & seek God to find their purpose.2.) We will reflect on people who are currently living their purpose.3.) Identify people who have left a legacy and see how their purpose lives on. 4.) Challenge them to begin living that purpose immediately as we set goals for the upcoming school year that will send them on the path of their own destiny. We will be visiting the White House grounds, the National Monument, The MLK Memorial, the National Harbor, we will be having a Youth Speaker Session as well as visiting a local College for a college tour because Knowledge is the Power to your PURPOSE.Below you will see our official itinerary & budget.Summary in case the photo has trouble loadingLeaving St. Louis July 21, 2016 and Arrive is DC the same Day.
