It's been a rough year for Dave, first losing his horse, Viva, a sheep, Dolly who meant the world to us and then finding out that Scout, he's mate of 14 years, has a terminal illness, leukaemia. It's been tough.Scout first fell ill about 8 months ago. With treatments and around the clock care we managed to get Scout through it. Over the last 8 months we've had minor set backs, until a few weeks ago, when Scout hit rock bottom again. We worked very hard around the clock to give Scout a chance of recovery. Simultaneously Dave was making the arrangements for Scout's final rest. A very traumatic time.Miracuosly, Scout has once again recovered from this relapse and we have been given more time. We don't know how much more time, maybe a month, maybe six, but probably not much more. I would like to give Dave a gift, a gift of time with his mate Scout and a much needed rest for him with a four night stay at http://www.countrywidecottages.com.auDave has been working seven days a week, paying enormous vet bills and had to cancel holidays and plans to look after Scouty every day and night. My plan is to raise the funds to pay for a holiday especially for the two of them to spend time together whilst they can.Dave has been my rock, my friend, my life and being able to give him this gift would mean the world to me, to Dave and Scout and I know a few of you as well.Thank you all in adavnce.  Let's give Dave and Scout the gift of time.Love Geoff.
