Hello everyone! We are Carolina, Jordan and Amanecer, a team of three--mother, father and daughter, who are developing a small, sustainable farm and nature retreat in Northern Nicaragua. Check out our Facebook Check out our Instagram We absolutely love what we're doing, and we are so happy and excited to be embarking on this new, life adventure. However, Carolina has recently received an opportunity that we can't turn down. After months of application procedures and waiting, she has finally been granted travel authorization and a potential work visa in the United States. So come October, we are off to the USA! But before we go, there is lots of work to be done, and that is the main reason for this LFEBridge campaign. Here is a summary of what we need: 1. $3,000 in the next three months to put towards the following projects: a well, water pump, water tower, solar panels and water lines for our drinking water the completion of the second-floor loft of our "rancho" an outdoor kitchen/cooking space a temporary bathroom and shower area a secure storage shed If we have time, we really want to start digging for our natural, spring-fed pool! 2. Volunteers/caretakers while we are gone! Aside from money to help us fund these projects, we are also looking for families, couples, or adventurous individuals to stay in our home while we are gone and care for our plants and animals. And speaking of visitors, we have always maintained a very community-centered vision for this project. We want to share our farm and the abundance that it provides with our growing network of friends and family. We are grateful for all the support that we receive and want everyone to know that friends, family and other collaborators will always be welcome to visit us here at Finca Amanecer (Sunrise Farm).
