Asalam alaikum, As many of you may be aware after years of hard work, planning and some setbacks along the way, Islamic Trust (Maidenhead) is now in a position to start construction of the new Islamic Centre. The upcoming Community Centre building will enable Maidenhead Mosque & Islamic Centre to expand its services and assist the community in Maidenhead by providing additional space and support to the elderly and vulnerable, building upon and expanding the amazing work carried out during the pandemic. As well as providing space for activities such as Education & Learning, Youth Club, Creche and Playgroups etc. Although the project has started, to see it through to successful completion will require a lot more hard work and money. It's because of this that members of the Maidenhead community and beyond have decided to take on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge - InShaAllah on 26th August 2024 we will trek across Pen y Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough – a circa 25-mile route within 12 hours...In the process raising as much money as we can through your sponsorship. I appreciate things may be a little bit tight at the moment, but please generously support this fundraising initiative -no donation is too small!
