I mentioned on the Fraternity’s Facebook page that the Wolnewitz family has recently lost their father, Brian (‘95), after a bout with cancer. Brian was a brother at Eta Phi as well as Alpha Eta in Gainesville. He became a firefighter in his hometown of Palm Beach Gardens and was promoted to captain prior to losing his battle against cancer. Brian was diagnosed in January of 2024, and his family fought with him throughout his battle, never leaving his side. His wife, Julie, was just this summer able to take the kids on their first out of state summer trip. I posted about sending them on their second one next summer. Following that post, the amount of positive feedback was palatable, so I decided to start this page to help fund it. Brothers have contacted me about sharing houses, condos, boats, etc…so there is a lot to figure out. But rest assured that this will be used appropriately to ensure that Brian’s family will have one hell of a vacation next summer. Phi Phi Kappa Alpha Pat Kelly ‘94
