Want to join me in making a difference? We are raising money to benefit Sunset No-AL Club Inc, and any donation will help make an impact. Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District crews were dispatched to a working commercial structure fire at the Sunset No-Al Club on the 5800 block of Gibbons Dr., in Carmichael. Crews arrived to find fire from the front door, and smoke and fire spreading throughout the attic space which very quickly led to 20’ flame lengths burning through the roof. Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District crews worked late in the night to contain the fire at the Sunset No-Al Club. Sunset No-AL Club was established in 1970. The club serves the Sacramento community for Alcohol and Drug recovery. This Facility opens its doors to more than 1000 people per week. The meetings are designed to provide Alcohol and Drug education at no charge and also provide a safe place for those who seek recovery. Funds are needed for restorations. The Sunset No-AL club was severely damaged by a fire that occurred on November 7, 2024, by an arsonist. Funds are now needed for additional construction and furnishing. The Club also needs to secure the building from future vandalism. This includes an alarm system, security fencing lighting and window coverings. Additional ADA parking spaces and code upgrades are required. Funds collected will go directly to repair, restore and secure the Sunset No-AL club so that they once again can provide a safe meeting space for recovering groups in the community Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause.
