This summer, Williams Ultimate Frisbee (WUF) is continuing our tradition of hosting a summer fundraiser for wealth redistribution, anti-racism, and equity. We are raising money in support of three organizations ranging from the international to local level: 1. Safe Passage (Camino Seguro) provides school enrollment and after-school support for children whose families live around the Guatemala City Garbage Dump. 2. Tapestry Health provides low/no-cost healthcare, with an emphasis on LGBTQ-friendly aid, for members of the Berkshire community. 3. Williams Mutual Aid is a community-funded support network for the distribution of resources and services to students. As WUF is a historically white and wealthy community, it is imperative that we use our immense privilege to support larger efforts against systematic injustice, as well as local groups working towards equity in our own communities. We, therefore, challenge current members, alumni, friends, and family to collectively raise and donate $6000 ($12000 with corporate matching) for the above organizations.
