Hi, my name is Willow. I am 9 years old and I want to help. I am starting my non-profit, called Willow's Helping Hands. Just recently, I learned there is a great need for the children of Niger. My Mom, Dad and I were watching a news story about what the children in Niger are going through. I immediately told my Mom that I wanted to give all my money to get food over there. She said we needed more. So, I wanted to reach out to our friends, family and community to begin working on getting food and supplies to those kids. It is really sad to see those kids suffering. They did not ask for this, so we need to help. I am asking you to HELP me with this first Willow's Helping Hands project. I want to help those who are less fortunate than us. The funds will be used for gathering food and supplies and sending them to Niger. I would also like to gather enough funds to take a trip there to see firsthand how I can better help them. During Vacation Bible School, my teacher taught us about the story of the Talents. The story is about three servants who were given talents. One was given 5 talents, one was given 2 talents and one was given 1 talent. All of them doubled their talents except for the one with only 1 talent. He buried his talent. What I learned that week is that I need to double my talents. My talent is that I care a lot about other people. I want to help and I could use your help to do so.
