Hi my name is Zoe, I live with my mom Lori and dad Tony, we have 3 pets, my dog Honey Bear and two cats Bebe and Nami. Me and my family have had it rough ever since my grandmother passed away and we lost our house. We spent a couple of months before the pandemic started living in a motel before we found the place we currently live in. While this place isn't exactly meant to be a home for a family of 3, we made it work for us despite how tiny of a shack it was. We kept up with the rent payments as much as we could. Financially we were doing okay till inflation started going up plus other expenses came up that really financially strained us. Me and my mother work at Universal Studios, we try to make our schedules work out to work the same times together but it's hard. My father is on permanent disability and gets a certain amount each month but despite all our combined financial amount we fell behind on our rent due to medical expenses and car repairs that were unexpected. My mother and I also had bad cases of covid back in 2024 which kept us both out of work for a little over a month, which in turn crippled us financially. Now we are facing eviction and have little to nothing financially to help us since we try to give most of what we have to pay off our balance for rent but it didn't make a difference. We have till tomorrow 7/14 to find a new place or be out on the streets. We can't bare the thought of giving up our pets as well. We've tired extending our time here to give us a chance to find a place where our pets are welcomed and that we can afford but it hasn't been easy and now with time not on our side we are stressed out. We are facing having to get rid of our pets that we've had in our lives for many many years and facing being in the streets since at this point we don't even have enough to stay at a motel for more than a night. Any help that you are willing to give is going to be greatly appreciated! We wouldn't be setting this up if we didn't desperately need help and had no other choice. We have no family to turn to, ties were cut off years ago so we only have each other to look out for. We set up the goal for this amount to help us find a place to and to help us move our things. With this amount we hope that we can find a decent place in time and keep pur family together through this difficult time.
