My name is Shuri, and I am reaching out on behalf of one of my very best friends, Tabitha Munford, or Tabbi, as we all lovingly know her. Her family is facing the devastating, unexpected loss of her little sister, Tera Kay Maclam. No one was expecting this at such a young age, so no preparations were made for her final arrangements. Along with Tabbi and her parents, Tera is survived by two beautiful daughters who are left to figure everything out. Her youngest, MacKenzie, just graduated high school in June. Her oldest, Kaylee, is set to wed her long-time love, Shane, in just two short months. They have so much going on in their young lives, they should not also be figuring out how to handle this expense. The idea of them stressing over this during such an awful time is heartbreaking. I know Tabbi and her family have been there for so many of us over the years, no matter the need. Please help me relieve some of the stress from them so they can focus on grieving and healing as a family.
