Hi everyone, As many of you will remember from last year, myself and 3 other idiots decided to walk from Brecon to Cardiff Bay all in one day to raise some much needed funds for Coedpenmaen Primary School who found themselves in special measures.  43 miles, 90,000 steps, a few out of body experiences and 15 or so hours later and we finally made it to the Bay! We raised an amazing £2,300 which made all the blood, sweat, tears and pain worth it. With the money, we bought much needed sports equipment and this year we have decided to go one step (or about 25,000 steps) further. This year we are aiming to walk the width of Wales. This will be around a mammoth 55-60 miles and we will be met with difficult and mountainous terrain throughout the journey. We hope to complete it between the Friday evening and the Saturday of the 18th and 19th August.  The money we raise this year will go towards paying for a much needed upgrade to the junior yard - the plan is to pay for properly painted pitch markings which will not only brighten up the yard but will also encourage the pupils to keep active and enjoy playing sports outside. The PTA have done an amazing job this year raising a lot of money and whatever is raised here will be added to their pot so that we can pay for the above. All donations are gratefully received. Thanks so much as always for your support. It's going to be completely brutal and I for one am definitely not prepared for the agony but we'll complete it for the pupils! Thanks, Eddie, Ashley, Matt and Nicky
