Hello all! My name is Ian Hudgens, Moyna Hudgens grandson. To carry on her legacy of outreach and her deep concern with international humanitarian affairs, I have become involved with the Uniting for Ukraine program through the US Customs and Immigration office. Uniting for Ukraine provides a pathway for Ukrainian citizens and their immediate family members to come to the United States and stay temporarily in a 2 year period of parole, with an expedited path to citizenship. I am sponsoring a former attorney Maryna, and her 8 year old daughter Sofiia from the Kharkiv region of Ukraine to rebuild their lives in Denver. Maryna's home, livelihood and stability were all cruelly destroyed by an unjust and illegal war of aggression. Currently, they are surviving on 300 Euro/month in a refugee camp in France. They arrive on the 21st of august with a maximum of 100 kg of luggage. We are fundraising to assist with the costs of relocating an entire life, including an ESL tutor for Sofiia, and transportation for Maryna to assist with her employment. Anything helps!
