Hi, The Luna's here! As you may or may not know, a very unexpected God-venture has been brought before us. Earlier this past week, we had just started to say our "see you laters" as we embarked on our little holiday to sunny England, where Elionwy would be reunited with her family for the first time in almost 6 years. It would be our first break after serving on Pais as missionaries for the last 18 months together (Elionwy 6 years on Pais). Well...It turned out that God had something very different planned for us indeed. In the process of waiting on Elionwy's Green Card, 2 days before departure to the UK, we get the news that her Green Card has been denied after a year-long wait. This not only canceled our holiday but now all US permits (ability to work, travel, etc.) have immediately been terminated and the Green Card process is completely denied. What does this mean? In the letter we received, it stated that we officially had 33 days to leave the United States, meaning that England, though paused for July, had now become a permanent move as of August 7th. A very unexpected God-venture. One we had not prepared for, but definitely one that God has been preparing for us in our hearts, as peace that only God can give in such a circumstance, has filled our hearts. With this being said, as we embark into the next chapter of our lives; moving to England, applying for not only Brandon to have a Work and Spouse Visa in the UK but a reapplication of Elionwys Green Card, we come to you for support. Currently, the plan is to move in with Elionwy's family, save up financially and hopefully be able to afford a home of our own. This includes Brandon having a UK work visa and a UK Spouse Visa asap - both of which are expensive. We are also saving for a new home to call our own, a car as we will be selling the one here and anything we need to make our move successful to live in the UK. This has all been a big shock in such little time, but I can't go without saying, what an immensely gracious Father we have! In what seemed like the end of the world, God has turned into a beautiful next chapter where our lives will be surrounded by a loving family in the UK. And with such love and support from our family and friends here in Texas, we feel so overwhelmed with blessing after blessing. Thank you for taking the time to read our update, we appreciate your consideration and your prayers.
