Hi, I'm Brady Couvillion, my friends and I are fundraising for the Kononenko family, who have had to flee their beloved Ukraine. We have all watched the news in horror of the senseless Russian invasion of Ukraine. We’ve seen the families torn apart, the lives senselessly lost, and we have wished we could help in some meaningful way. Well, this is it. I promise you, you could not hope to meet a better, more caring family. This family is so caring, they took in a good friend of mine, an American in Ukraine, when he found himself in need in a foreign country where he knew absolutely no one. They took him in, no questions asked. When my friends and I went to visit said friend in Ukraine, this family spent every day showing us around their beautiful country. I will never forget their hospitality and generosity. When the Russian invasion first started, Andriy’s family fled to Poland, while Andriy stayed behind. He later rejoined his family, and they were fortunate enough to be brought to the United States, first to Salt Lake City, and have since relocated to a town outside of Boston. A kind supporter has been kind enough to provide them with lodging, but they struggle to make ends meet for their basic needs for themselves and their beautiful three children. The time has come to show this amazing family the type of love and support they have always shown everyone else. They helped others in good times, now they need our help to get through the bad times. Andriy is the type that he would never ask for help, so I am asking for him. Please help us by donating to help them cover the basic necessities.
