While in the process of transitioning from one station to another, on Tuesday morning, 8/01/23 a devastating fire engulfed their moving truck with a majority of their belongings ranging from clothes and furniture to irreplaceable keepsakes. They are now forced into an uphill battle of trying to get their lives back in order, while trying to settle into their new place across the country away from their families, getting the boys into new schools, and starting life over again. For those who have had the privilege of knowing Kate and Marc, you would undoubtedly recognize their exceptional generosity. They would give you the clothes off their back and the last food in the fridge to anyone in need. Over the course of the years, their enduring friendship and boundless love have left an indelible mark on countless families, serving as a source of warmth, support, and inspiration. This brave military family has sacrificed so much for our country, dedicating their lives to service and protection. Now, they find themselves in a time of desperate need, as they work to piece their lives back together.
