Hello, my name is Brianna. I am raising money for my family and I who abruptly lost our home. (At the end of the story their is pictures) July 7,2024 at 10:45pm as the night came to an end for us our lives changed within an instant!! A drunk male driver (which I found out he has prior conviction of DUI, reckless driving) crossed over the median at a speed of 80+mph, he drove through my neighbors yard and went airborne striking a tree on the side of my yard (the whole stump came out the ground) which that did not stop the vehicle from striking my mobile home. We were in the home at the time of the accident. (Myself, partner, & three little girls) Thankfully no one was injured physically. Otherwise emotionally, mentally, it is a lot to process. My two children which are ages 9 & 4 are devastated about losing their home. They have asked me multiple times are we going to get another home. My youngest who is only two months old isn’t able to comprehend what is going on. My partner is unemployed since he worked from home in his office. The office was destroyed by the impact making the entire house shake like an earthquake. The night the incident happened we had to immediately evacuate the firefighters/police informed us the home was not livable since it was pushed off the foundation/frame. It’s heartbreaking!! We didn’t have renters insurance. The funds that are raised will be put towards getting into a new home, recreating another office space, paying for lawyer to sue the drunk driver civilly/criminally for what he caused since his insurance is stating they aren’t liable. As I stated above the driver has prior convictions. I am going to use this money to be the voice to have him held accountable. Not just the charges he brought upon himself. We will greatly appreciate anything even if it is a $1 per person. It will add up. Donate what you can. Thank you so much!!! God bless !!!!!
