For more regular updates on Mickie (be aware if you donate through the CaringBridge site, the donations go to CaringBridge, rather than Mickie, please use the LFEBridge page for donations directly to Mickie) - https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/mickiemurphy __________________________________ Update from Joe Murphy on 7/19/2024: I am stunned at the quality of the human beings Mickie knows and loves and works with at Blue & Co., BlueBenefits LLC, and all the industry groups beyond them. (I know all the acronyms, but can't bring them to mind!) To say I am grateful simply seems obvious and entirely insufficient. I honor you all. For my part, I pledge to use whatever funds come to us, at her discretion, for needs arising and related to this event. Ok, maybe I'll buy rose plants for her, but that is so related to her recovery! If we wind up not using them and can return them, we shall. If anonymous, we will pass them on to a like need. May God bless you all richly! Joe ____________________________ So many of us, in and outside the retirement industry, have been touched by Mickie Murphy's beautiful and infectious smile and willingness to give back and help individuals and organizations whenever and wherever she could. Mickie was recently involved in a horrific car accident. She will remain in the hospital in Cincinnati, hours from her home, for several weeks and will have a very long road to recovery thereafter. Mickie and her husband, Joe, are a long way from their home, for the foreseeable future; hotel, meal and other costs, above and beyond the medical care costs for Mickie are already starting to add up. Let’s pull together as an industry and set the example for “giving-back” to show Mickie our love and appreciation for all she has unselfishly done for others. All donations will go directly to Mickie & family. Thank you in advance for showing Mickie and Joe all of the support our retirement industry has to give and set the example for others outside our industry to follow!
