Chris Parker of Walpole, MA was in a horrific and life altering car accident on Saturday, July 29th on his way to a side job. Chris was ejected from his vehicle and was barely alive when rescue workers found him. Chris suffered multiple life-threatening injuries, one of which was his left leg needed to be amputated. Chris also broke his spine in two places, broke his pelvis, incurred multiple facial fractures, and rib fractures among other injuries. While Chris was in a medically induced coma for a week and underwent multiple surgeries, the extent of his injuries are still unknown. Chris is a dedicated man to his family, his fiancé, and his son James who is 10 months old. He is one of the best people we have ever met. His continued selflessness is beyond comparison. Chris is the type of guy that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed one. He has never said he could not do something or could say no if you asked for help. Chris’ other love is his profession. He is a dedicated member of Local 534 Boston Plasters’ and Cement Mason’s. Chris started with union 7 years ago and has successfully completed the apprenticeship program and grew to a journeyman quickly. His devotion and hard work have never faltered. He is one of the strongest people you will ever meet which is most likely why he is still with us today. We are creating this Go Fund Me to help Chris with expected expenses due to his injuries. Chris’ prognosis is good. He has amazed the medical staff caring for him. He is no longer in a medically induced coma, however, has not fully regained consciousness yet. Therefore, we still do not know the extent of his injuries. Due to his amputation and potential paralysis, we need to be sure that Chris and his fiancé and son are taken care of. Thank you to all for your help for Chris. Please keep him in your prayers for the long journey of healing ahead. If you could please share with your friends and family to help Chris get the support he needs, we would truly appreciate it.
