Greetings, my name is Brotha Ghazi Muhammad. I am the co-owner, with my wife, of Kayaneh's Sunset Ranch (25-acre land) located in Villa Rica, Ga. We have been here for 2 1/2 years and the journey has been nothing short of incredible. The things that we are learning and the impact that we are making on others fuel us to keep going. On June 25 I was working on building a fence around our event venue when a bad storm came through. Initially, I went inside the building to get out of the rain but then decided to just go up to the house. While going into the house I received a text message saying that one of my neighbors was stranded down the road. A powerline had fallen preventing her from going forward and when she tried to back up a tree had fallen behind her. She was stuck. I put my boots back on and immediately jumped in my truck to go and check up on her to offer my assistance. While driving toward the front gate I was shocked at what I saw. A large tree had fallen and literally, cut our building in half. I couldn't believe my eyes. I was just in that spot less than 5 min ago. I Thank God that I left. Please don't take your precious life for granted. We have used this building and land to inspire thousands of people across the country. We have hosted many school field trips, family reunions, business training, weddings, conferences, healing retreats, birthday parties, farm tours, camping, and the list goes on and on. We have been committed to using this land as a source of inspiration and empowerment for others. Unfortunately, our insurance covered our home but all other buildings on the property are considered accessory buildings and are covered only 10%. A hard lesson to learn about the complexities of farm insurance. We are looking to clean up this mess and eventually began rebuilding and we need your help. In spite of this setback, we are now even more determined to continue the journey of service to others. Many people who have visited our land have described it as a "Little Slice of Heaven" and "A Peaceful Atmosphere". We are working to keep this reality alive and then multiply it by 1000. Your financial contribution to this clean-up effort is deeply appreciated. Storms only last only a short time but their effects last much longer. Love is the most enduring force, for it endures ALL THINGS. And since we absolutely love what we do, we have faith that this too shall pass. Thank You Brotha Ghazi
