Dear friends, family and community, I wanted to provide you with an update on Steve's progress and Eunice's journey. It's been a challenging time, but your continued support means the world to the Crandall family. Steve's transfer to the Rehab/Skilled Nursing Facility on August 8 marked a significant step in his recovery. There, he's been diligently working with therapy to regain his strength and mobility. It's been a tough journey, but his determination is truly inspiring. One positive development is that the medical team is planning to put the right side of Steve's skull back in place. They had to remove part of his skull at the beginning to help with swelling in his brain. This is a crucial step in his recovery, and it's scheduled for assessment at the end of September when he has an appointment with the neurosurgeon. During this visit, the neurosurgeon will check a CT scan and assess Steve's head to determine if the next surgery (possibly in October or later) is feasible. This would mark his third neurosurgery, and your support has been instrumental in helping him get this far. Eunice, Steve's beloved wife, is also making progress. She has recently started driving herself, a significant milestone on her road to recovery. However, she still relies on a cane or walker as needed, as she continues to regain her strength. She remains fragile but is showing resilience and determination. To make matters more challenging, the Crandall family had to make the difficult decision to close one of their Flyboys Deli locations. This was a heartbreaking choice for them, as they had poured their hearts and souls into building and running these restaurants. Unfortunately, the financial strain became too much to bear. As friends and supporters of the Crandall family, it's our mission to provide them with the assistance they need during these trying times. The medical bills, rehabilitation costs, and the loss of one of their businesses have placed an enormous burden on their shoulders. If you can, please consider donating to their LFEBridge campaign once more. Every contribution, regardless of size, brings us closer to helping Steve and Eunice recover and rebuild their lives. Your generosity has already made a difference, and together, we can continue to make strides in their journey to health and happiness. Thank you for standing by the Crandall family during these trying times. Your unwavering support is a beacon of hope for them as they face the challenges that lie ahead. With heartfelt gratitude, Hannah Estrada Dear friends, family, and compassionate individuals, My name is Hannah Estrada and I am raising money for Steve and Eunice, close family friends and the owners of the local restaurant, Flyboys Deli. I am reaching out to you today to share the story of a remarkable family that has faced overwhelming adversity in recent times. Our beloved friend, Steve, has experienced a massive stroke, while his wife, Eunice, is bravely recovering from both cancer and a broken leg. As they navigate the challenges of their health battles, we come together as a community to offer our love, support, and financial assistance. Steve has always been a pillar of strength for those around him. However, the unexpected stroke has left him facing physical limitations and a long road to recovery. The medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and ongoing care have placed an immense financial burden on the family. Steve is fighting to regain his health, and his wife, Eunice, has been undergoing an arduous battle against cancer. Despite enduring countless treatments and surgeries, she has shown incredible resilience and determination. Unfortunately, her journey took a devastating turn when she suffered a broken leg, adding another layer of complexity to her recovery process. Throughout these difficult times, the family's focus has been on healing and supporting each other. However, the financial strain from medical bills, rehabilitation services, and everyday expenses, including the restaurant expenses, has become an additional obstacle on their path to recovery. As friends and loved ones, we want to relieve some of the financial burden, allowing them to concentrate on their physical and emotional well-being. This is where your generosity and compassion can make an enormous impact. By contributing to this LFEBridge campaign, you have an opportunity to uplift this extraordinary family and help them rebuild their lives. Your donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards medical expenses, therapy sessions, necessary equipment, and other costs associated with their recovery process. Let's show Steve and Eunice that they are not alone in this journey. Together, we can be the pillars of support they need during this trying time. Every donation, prayer, share, and a kind word will make a difference and bring hope to their lives. Please join us in making a meaningful difference for this incredible family. Your support and compassion will provide them with the necessary resources to overcome these challenges and move toward a brighter future. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity, love, and support! With gratitude, Hannah Estrada on behalf of the family of Steve and Eunice Crandall
