Hi. We’re still recovering after our house & belongings were stolen 5 months ago. We’ve got permanent housing now & are pooling donations and my income to get moved in. We’ve done our best to buy necessities these past few months & are now acquiring winter gear. I’ve gotten work delivering food, which gives me flexibility. I’m not able to work enough to make it over this final hurdle of added expenses alone. We’re paying some upfront costs to get moved into our permanent home. We’ll be able to make the monthly payments & cover utilities. So Once we reach our financial goal, living simply will be sustainable. After unexpectedly losing my job last year & due to health issues, I downsized & moved my tiny family into a camper & started a craft business. Downsizing has been challenging, but also truly the best decision. We love it! My son & I are enjoying a lot more time and presence together & enjoying our daily adventures in nature. Unfortunately, our camper was stolen, along with our air conditioner, fan, winter supplies & heater, repair supplies & tools, a lot of my business tools & supplies, clothes, shoes, and some of my son’s toys. Not everything was lost, but a lot was. We are safe, living in a comfortable home with the help of others and are still enjoying presence, playing & nature. Right now we’re in danger of losing our belongings kept in storage due to nonpayment, plus we have monthly bills to pay, but not enough money. Any amount will be utilized fully to help us out of this financial stress for good. I’ve missed y’all over the years, and I apologize for not keeping in touch.
