Hi, my name is Stephen Litchfield, owner of Litchfield Cabinetry. I am fundraising for Skip Phagan, a friend and an employee of Litchfield Cabinetry for almost 20 years. On Friday, July 14 at 11:30 pm, Skip Phagan woke up to the smell of an electrical fire. Within moments he grabbed what he could and then his home was instantly up in flames. Skip has lived at the same home in Bluffton for over 25 years. He raised his family, chickens, dogs, and cats over the years there. Skip escaped the fire with the clothes on his back and lost everything. Thankfully, he did not have any pets in the home at the time of the fire. Skip is known in the Bluffton community as a master craftsman, Cub Scout leader, and all-around man of minimal needs. He has worked for Litchfield Cabinetry for almost 20 years and the chances are good if you’ve met Skip, you know that he is a skilled, detailed, and perfectionist person. Please help Skip cover the cost of demolition, disposal, and rebuilding. There is no insurance on his home and every expense is out of pocket. If you know of goods or services that could be donated, please reach out! We want to exceed this goal and any additional funds raised will help Skip rebuild his home.
