My daughter was a victim of my husband's mental illness. On Sunday July 23, 2024 while I was at work and my daughter was home with 4 of my grandkids my husband got upset and shot my daughter. FIVE times before turning the gun on himself inflicting a fatal shot to the head. My daughter has 2 bullet fragments lodged in the back of her head, a fractured skull, and a bullet wound to her right arm. He also shot her in the face where the bullet entered the right side of face and exited the left side. Due to the extent of damage and emotional trauma we will be making a LOT of visits to drs, she will have surgery in a couple weeks to have bullets from her skull. She will also need EXTENSIVE dental and oral procedures. My grandkids will be needing a LOT of counseling and they are already scheduled to be seen this Thursday. Due to this tragic event we have lost the 3 main sources of income with in seconds. Please share and thank you all for everything from prayers to shares and donations. I would like to do a quick update. Ada has called her ins provider and has been informed they will not be covering the surgeries that she will be needing for her mouth. Victims assistance services have been contacted and paperwork has been filled out but that could take months if they help at all! So we need help more than we thought. Please share as much as possible and pray we get the help we need as she needs her mouth fixed asap!
