Dear Community Givers, If you have ever met or been influenced by a Coach that purposefully helps any student or student's parents/family by providing time, money, equipment, and opportunities that would otherwise not exist. then you can relate to a small portion of what Coach Nate provides for our Utah community and Ben Lemond High School football family. Coach Nate is Utah Native and earned his BIS with an emphasis in Lifespan Nutrition, Health Science and Health Promotion. While in college playing football for Southern Utah University and Snow Junior College an injury made him decide to switch from playing football to playing Rugby for Weber State University. This is where he found his passion for improving human performance. That translated into a focus on youth and ensuring they start with a better foundation to play the sports he always loved. He has been one of the most vital hires in Ben Lemond's history creating and cultivating a new culture for its football program. Annually Coach Nate trains, leads, and mentors approximately 450 athletes outside of traditional school and has taught the last 4 years on average 400 Ben Lemond students. Once a summer, Coach Nate takes his only opportunity during moratorium week to vacation with his family. This year, their camping trip to Washington was just the time away they needed until a fire broke out, thankfully at the end of the trip, in the recreational vehicle they were driving. It happened so fast that they only had time to pull over and get out before it completely went out in flames. They lost everything they had inside, even wallets. The Scots Football family is fundraising to aid Coach Nate and his family to replace as much as possible from this accident. This cause is very important to me because our family has personally benefited from the kind, public-spirited, compassionate, self-sacrificing, unselfish actions this Coach and his family live by day in and day out and would like to give something back. I’m encouraged by the support they have already received, but we still need help. Would you be willing to contribute to this selfless humanitarian? A gift of any amount would mean the world. It would also mean a lot if you could share this fundraiser link on social media. The more exposure this gets, the faster we can get this family back up and running. Prayers and blessings to the Tuatagaloa family and all the givers and their families as well.
