Hello! Good family friends of mine lost their home and three animals in a horrific fire that started around 11:30 p.m. Thursday night. The family of five were able to escape the blaze with just the clothes on their back. Three of their beloved pets (one dog and two cats) unfortunately did not survive. The daughter's beloved pit bull (who passed) and a neighbor helped alert the family to the fire that reportedly started in the rear of their home. One kitten was rescued and is currently under the emergency care of North Valley Animal Hospital in Fort Mohave for burns and smoke inhalation. The husband is a retired veteran, both work and have been in the community for nearly 15 years. Anything helps right now to help offset the costs of losing their home and the vet bill.
