We are writing to you on behalf of our brother Robert Stephen Andrade. Many of you know us or knew our parents, Judy and Bob Andrade. Dad, especially, is remembered as a well-loved teacher and an integral part of the Palm Springs Air Museum. You may not know, however, about our brother Stephen. Steve is handicapped and, because of his disabilities, is homeless. He’s been in emergency housing for the past couple weeks, but his allotted time runs out in less than a week and he faces living on the street. You can’t imagine the anguish I’ve been under, living so far away from my brother and trying to work with Social Services, only to run into brick wall after brick wall. Then, God provided a miracle. A trusted family member (whom our grandma had cared for as a foster son) offered a place on his property for a trailer. Not only will this give Steve a home and get him out of a bad situation, but this family member has also offered to keep an eye on Steve while we ensure he receives the care and services he needs, while still giving him a place of his own. Now we just need the trailer. We are reaching out to you, our friends and family, to help us raise enough money to purchase a good trailer and get it set up. This would be the answer to many, many prayers Leeann Andrade Kelley Greg Andrade Thank you so much for your generous donation and forwarding this to your community. If you know Stephen, you know his life has been hard. If you would like to read his story, it will soon be posted to Leeann Andrade Kelley's Facebook Story page
