Hi everyone! I’m fundraising to replace two stolen laptops and to put security bars on our window.On July 14 at around 3:00am, thieves entered the window about three feet above our mattress where we were sleeping and stole two laptops and a computer bag that contained an ID, bank card, and credit cards from our home office in Guinea Bissau, one of the poorest countries on earth where I and Daiana Taborda Gomes operate several online consultancies, services and e-commerce businesses. Without the laptops, we are deprived of our means of subsistence.There are locked gates at both the front and back of the compound so the only way in was through the window above our bed that we open at night because we have no air conditioning and it’s hot and muggy in Bissau!We filed a police report but the justice system is a joke!We realize now that we will need to install security bars on the first floor windows.Please help us get back on our feet.
