Hi my name is Anwar and I would like you to support me in raising funds for 'People In Need Today' (PINT). PINT are a small charity based in London, U.K who support and help the homeless and those people in need (For those physically sleeping on the streets, Vulnerable, Elderly, Single Mothers or Fathers, Disabled, Victims of Domestic violence / abuse and for those who are in the process of seeking asylum and refuge). PINT have also organised a soup kitchen for the vulnerable in Streatham, London and another in Brighton, Sussex, U.K. Another possible location in the near future is in Yorkshire, U.K. PINT also carries out multiple outreach services across different parts of London and supporting approximately 600 people currently on a weekly basis. A vehicle to help and support the soup kitchens is desperately needed and also to take meals, sleeping bags etc for the individuals physically sleeping on the streets. Because of the circumstances in the U.K regarding ULEZ requirements starting in August 2024. PINT is forced to take the current vehicle being used off the road towards the end of August 2024. PINT helped me greatly in my own time of need when I was very vulnerable after multiple life saving surgeries and I was therefore unable to walk, I couldn't even walk two steps at one point and compounded with my vision issue. It was at times like that which makes you realise how important, and for some people it could be life saving to be dealing with a charity like PINT. It is small charities like PINT that go unseen and unrewarded for the work they carry out. I have seen this first hand for myself. Finally, I understand there are hundreds or thousands of people fundraising for various causes but for anyone in doubt please feel free to come down and volunteer and see the outstanding work this charity does and will continue to do so.
