The Malcolm X Center For Human Rights - WMXP 95.5 Community Radio Station has an immediate need to pay rent for the land on which the radio transmission tower is located! The tower, pictured with MXC Director, Efia Nwangaza, is the central piece of equipment that enables the station's broadcasts. Since 1991, WMXP 95.5 has been the only FCC-registered low-power Black community-owned and operated station in South Carolina, providing independent local and national programming as well as communications and media training for and by Greenville’s Black community! The first goal of this LFEBridge is set at $2,500 to cover an initial payment, at which point the goal will be raised to try to catch up on back payments and save for future rent. Additional information can be found at: www.wmxp955.org If you wish to donate directly, you can send funds to the CashApp account: $StolenLives Thank you for your support! -Corrine Multimedia Content Coordinator
