A beautiful Greek island which is very dear to our family’s heart is burning. Hundreds of villagers have lost their homes, hotels and businesses have been destroyed and the lives of many animals have been lost. Our Village is in the south of Lindos, near the Kiotari, which sadly has been severally burnt. We have heard first hand from our family and villagers that whilst services are completely overwhelmed, the islanders have been KEY in helping tourists, their neighbours whilst watching their own land burn. The skies are blinding orange at night and grey with ash in the day. Myself and my brother William, will be flying out to the island on the 5th August 2024 to work with those affected by the wildfires and we will be documenting our progress via instagram (@PrayForRhodes) so you can see just how far your donations are going! Your donations will directly contribute to purchasing supplies to provide as much help as possible to the people, wildlife and villages of Rhodes.
