On July 11, Montpelier suffered one of the most catastrophic floods in its history. Tanya, Stephen, and their 2 kids were forced to leave their building on 7/15 because flood damages deemed it unsafe for living. They are unsure if they will be able to return at all or if they can, when that will be. Their family of four needs financial assistance to secure interim housing and most likely permanent housing. They also need to repair or replace a car that was recently purchased with the intention of fixing it a little at a time. These folks can't possibly cover these costs along with the extremely unexpected housing costs added on (security deposit, first and last month's rent, and utility deposits). They need our help. If you are able, even small donations will add up to big support. This page will be updated as their needs become more clear.
