Honor a loved one that may be buried here. Consider a donation of any amount to erect a dignified new sign for the Portland Evergreen Cemetery. After seeing the poor condition of the historic Portland Evergreen Cemetery sign, many community members were interested in making a donation to help create a sign worthy of the sacred space. Established in 1806, the cemetery tells the rich story of our region and the pioneering men a women that lived here. Help secure their legacy for generations to come. The cemetery is the final resting place to many of Brocton and Portland’s founding families and leading citizens (Brad Anderson and US Congressman Gilbert Dean) as well as American Revolutionary and Civil War soldiers and other veterans.
