Francisco “Frankie” Questel was in a serious single-vehicle accident from a tire blowout on the freeway this weekend. He was on his way to Lakeside Polo Club to work ponies. Frankie’s truck, as you can see in the photo is a total loss. We are so grateful he was able to walk away from this accident and Thank God, he is ok and only sustained minimal injuries. The loss of his truck, which was not just for transportation, is also a source of his income which enables him to haul horses. He has spent a lot of time and money recently replacing the engine and other repairs, which he will not be able to recoup. Insurance will not be enough to cover the cost of replacing the truck, his medical expenses, or loss of income due to the inability to work at this time. Frankie has been a long-time asset and supporter of Lakeside Polo Club where he has been instrumental in the growth of so many young and new polo players and has continues to donate his time to the Lakeside Polo Youth Foundation. He has been part of the polo community for almost 50 years across the US and abroad. Please consider donating and supporting the Questel family during this time.
