Hi, our house got on fire. Unfortunately, PWVC was working on replacing some water pipes. They cut a ground wire, and a short circuit was created. The fire started on the second floor and spread to the attic. The firefighters and the police did an amazing job getting everybody out of the house, however, all the water also flooded the basement and the 1st floor. The entire house was lost. They evacuated us from the house and we can no longer live in there until the house gets completely fixed. Since there was an external company working on the property, many investigations are going on, and we are paying for all those expenses to try to prove their fault. We've been told that this might even take years. As of now, we are temporarily renting an apartment until we figure this out. I was working from home, so all my equipment got damaged, and I'm not able to continue working, so also looking for a temporary job until I can replace my equipment. Our kids attend Clifton Schools, but they are too little and we didn't want to involve them in this, so we just told them that we will be away for some time, but they don't know what happened. They just keep asking for their toys, and their stuff, but all is lost. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated and used towards temporary housing while we get back up on our feet.
