Hi! Zora and Lauren here. We have spent the past few weeks volunteering for the Play and Learn Foundation's (PAL) after-school tutoring program in the Okponglo Neighborhood in Accra, Ghana. Okponglo is full of wonderful children who are ready to learn and grow, however, they lack much-needed educational resources. PAL's after-school program aims to provide academic support, foster a love of learning, and empower the Okponglo youth to follow their passions and reach their full potential. PAL currently has a small selection of books, worksheets, and school supplies available for the neighborhood. And in recent months, the number of children PAL serves in Okponglo has doubled, which has put further strain on their resources. We have started this LFEBridge so PAL may purchase whiteboards, books, pencils and pens, art books, a projector, and a tent so that even when it rains children can still get the after-school help they deserve. Your donation would have a direct impact not only on these children but the Okponglo neighborhood as a whole. For, when children rise, communities rise. We would like to end with a quote from PAL.
