We are a Melanin kaleidoscope, all hues, all colors, all nations, all gender identities, and all religions are welcome to express their visions. We invite dreams sprung from every corner of the Earth, especially dreams outside of America and those suppressed within it. Since 2014, we have been committed to bringing more racial diversity to Burning Man, where Black campers historically have made up less than 1% of attendees. Our camp creates a safe place for POC participants to experience the event and inspire others to experience the magic that is Burning Man. The POCC is an intentional tribe with an eye on sustaining our Chosen Family in the real world. A living experiment, we are a foundation for a peaceful future, a rainbow fountain of experiences. We strive to build an inclusive community during the burn, but also in the default world offering community and support to our campers. The POC has been in the community for TEN years! A decade of providing community and culture to people of all colors and backgrounds! We hope to celebrate this amazing achievement at the burn!! BUT, we need your help to offset the increase in prices of food and infrastructure for our camp. We are expanding this year to 50 + campers, and that comes with a significant increase in costs for our camp. At the burn, we will have multiple programs, including a block party where we will have a dominoes tournament, and music, a movie night featuring POC movies, and a "Color party" where we will bring colors and Afro beats music to the playa, and many more!!! Any donation will be greatly appreciated by our campers!
